Tradesmen - what can go wrong?
In the course of his business, an electrician installed wiring incorrectly in the customer's premises. This resulted in a fire, which caused major damage to the premises. The customer claimed against the electrician for the damage.
Whilst installing a new washing machine, a plumber accidentally flooded the customer's kitchen. The customer claimed against the plumber for the cost of a new laminate floor.
These are only examples. The circumstances of each claim vary and are subject to the terms and conditions of policy wording.
